Southeastern University’s online Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) program explores business strategy, human resources, and global social entrepreneurship. The 39 credit hour curriculum is rooted in a Christian worldview, blending relevant business experiences with moral and ethical teachings to prepare students for a successful career as a servant leader. While learning core business management skills, students will examine various leadership styles, traits, and skills from a holistic approach. They will also study the leadership of other cultures and discuss key similarities and differences in their communication styles, teamwork, and motivation. Coursework will also focus on the complications and strategies for effective human resource management as they relate to acquisition, management, and retention of an organization’s workforce. Through a capstone course, students will learn how to identify and assess key business issues and implement a strategic plan using ethical Christian ideals.
Through the online healthcare MBA program, you will explore fundamental business management principles as they pertain to the healthcare industry. Learn how to demonstrate effective communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills, along with business theory and applications in dynamic global environments. Grasp how to apply these business tools to various areas, including healthcare organization and governance, information technology, law, economics and finance, and quality management while exhibiting servant leadership in the workplace. In the program’s healthcare core courses, you will explore various healthcare principles and policies from a Christian worldview with a focus on organization, management, healthcare law, and legal policies. A capstone course requires completion of an action plan project that provides solutions to real-world healthcare administration issues.
