Online Programs
AA General Education
Southeastern University’s Associate of Arts (AA) degree is created for students seeking an advanced curriculum without a declared field of study. This two-year, online program consists of 62 credit hours, with 50* credit hours designated to Foundational Core studies, such as courses in general education, biblical studies, and faith integration. Students must also complete 12 credit hours of general electives. With an AA degree, students have the necessary knowledge to continue their education with an advanced degree or pursue jobs such as a junior designer, human resources assistant, marketing assistant, or administrative assistant.
*The Foundational Core Program includes the core learning components commonly accepted as foundational for a four-year baccalaureate degree by many colleges and universities. However, many bachelor degrees require specific prerequisites. Students should verify how their AA degree and classes transfer into their intended degree.
Associate of Ministerial Leadership
Southeastern University's Associate of Ministerial Leadership is an online degree that allows students to develop their knowledge of theology, the Bible, spiritual development, church ministry, leadership principles, and ecclesiastical operations. Students satisfy the credentialing requirements of ordination through the Assemblies of God as part of the program. All courses are transferable into Southeastern’s Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership.
BS in Ministerial Leadership: Biblical Studies
The Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership — Biblical Studies track (BSMLB) provides a broad, robust foundation in theology, the Bible, spiritual development, church ministry, leadership principles, and ecclesiastical operations. This online program is a total of 122 credit hours, including 56 credit hours for Foundational Core courses, 24 credit hours of general electives, and 42 credit hours of ministerial leadership core courses. The final 18 hours of the BSMLB major core focuses on advanced study, interpretation, and application of the Bible in the context of the local church.
BS in Organizational Leadership
A Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership degree is suitable for those who desire to start or advance their career as a leader of a non-profit or business organization. Students will develop a strong understanding of leadership theories and practices that guide successful businesses. They will also have the opportunity to choose a minor to strengthen their skill set and gain an advantage in the marketplace such as a minor in business or journalism. This online program is a total of 120 credit hours: 56 credit hours for Foundational Core courses, and 37 credit hours of organizational leadership core courses, and 27 credit hours of general electives.

MA in Biblical Studies
The Southeastern University Master of Arts (Biblical Studies) provides advanced biblical studies, including an advanced biblical language (Greek or Hebrew). The purpose is to provide advanced academic work in biblical studies for teaching, research, or ministry. In that Pentecostals historically have contended that the foundation for ministry is biblical literacy, this degree provides a standard for a Pentecostal institution in the forefront of theological education. This is an avenue for students to pursue a PhD in biblical studies. It is also an appropriate degree to prepare for teaching at the undergraduate level.

MA in Ministerial Leadership: Pastoral Care & Counseling
The Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership: Pastoral Care and Counseling degree program enriches the work of ministry leaders—serving in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and a variety of
other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of theological studies, biblical studies, Christian formation, and ministry practices. The final 15 hours of the degree program emphasize the application of counseling theories/techniques, pastoral care, crisis pastoral care, and addiction pastoral care in ministry contexts.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Master of Business Administration degree aims to equip graduate students with the concepts and practices relating to business leadership and management.
We offer flexibility in pacing and electives and offer online and in-person courses. While we do offer MBA majors, this plan illustrates finishing without one. This MBA is the shortest to complete in just 30 hours and has no program prerequisites. The full-time program can be completed in one year.
Master of Divinity (MDiv)
Southeastern University’s online Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree prepares students for ministry in professional settings and for doctoral education by providing a comprehensive understanding of theological commitments and practices of the church. Students will receive a strong foundation in various theological disciplines from a Pentecostal perspective, interact critically with affirming and opposing theories, and practice and reflect on theological commitments within various ministerial areas.

MBA in Executive Leadership
Southeastern University’s online Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) program explores business strategy, human resources, and global social entrepreneurship. The 39 credit hour curriculum is rooted in a Christian worldview, blending relevant business experiences with moral and ethical teachings to prepare students for a successful career as a servant leader. While learning core business management skills, students will examine various leadership styles, traits, and skills from a holistic approach. They will also study the leadership of other cultures and discuss key similarities and differences in their communication styles, teamwork, and motivation. Coursework will also focus on the complications and strategies for effective human resource management as they relate to acquisition, management, and retention of an organization’s workforce. Through a capstone course, students will learn how to identify and assess key business issues and implement a strategic plan using ethical Christian ideals.
MBA in Missional Leadership
Southeastern University’s online MBA in Missional Leadership degree provides the knowledge necessary to excel as a strong theologian and the skills to minister to and pass that knowledge onto others. Through a challenging curriculum, you will study the methods for identifying and nurturing the leadership traits needed to transform a mission and its goals. You will also examine the issues of effective organizational outreach, including recruitment, motivation, communication, and implementation. Key topics covered by this program are global social entrepreneurship, leadership philosophy, leading across cultures, biblical preaching/teaching methods, managing change and conflict, interpersonal techniques/helping relations, Spirit-empowered discipleship and more. Doctor of Ministry (DMin)
The Doctor of Ministry is the highest degree for those in vocational ministry and is the ultimate step for those called to ministry to develop their divine design to serve Christ and the world through Spirit-empowered life, learning, and leadership, which is very much in line with the mission of Southeastern University.
The program is intended to enhance the competency and understanding in ministry for those with an MDiv. degree and significant ministry experience. It is designed to provide advanced and innovative training in the practice of biblically sound, theologically based, and spiritually motivated ministry to leaders actively involved in ministry. The primary target audience includes those in church and parachurch ministry who seek to advance their knowledge, research ability, and leadership skills.
