Master's Programs
The Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership: Leadership degree program enriches the work of ministry leaders—serving in local churches, faith based non-profit organizations, and a variety of other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of theological studies, biblical studies, Christian formation, and ministry practices. The final 15 hours of the degree program emphasizes the application of general leadership, administrative leadership, conflict management, and strategic leadership practices in ministry contexts.
The Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership: Family Ministry degree program enriches the work of ministry leaders—serving in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and a variety of other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of theological studies, and biblical studies, Christian formation, and ministry practices. The final 15 hours of the degree program emphasize the application of family ministry leadership, pastoral care, and multi-generational ministry practices in ministry contexts.
The Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership: Ministry degree program enriches the work of ministry leaders—serving in local churches, faith based non-profit organizations, and a variety of other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of theological studies, biblical studies, Christian formation, and ministry practices. The final 15 hours of the degree program emphasizes the application of preaching, leadership, pastoral care, and congregational leadership practices in ministry contexts.
The Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership: Pastoral Care and Counseling degree program enriches the work of ministry leaders—serving in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and a variety of other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of theological studies, biblical studies, Christian formation, and ministry practices. The final 15 hours of the degree program emphasize the application of counseling theories/techniques, pastoral care, crisis pastoral care, and addiction pastoral care in ministry contexts.
Southeastern University’s online Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree prepares students for ministry in professional settings and for doctoral education by providing a comprehensive understanding of theological commitments and practices of the church. Students will receive a strong foundation in various theological disciplines from a Pentecostal perspective, interact critically with affirming and opposing theories, and practice and reflect on theological commitments within various ministerial areas.
